Daily Prompt: Clean Slate

Explore the room you’re in as if you’re seeing it for the first time. Pretend you know nothing. What do you see? Who is the person who lives there?

Enter to the room with a life. This the owners bedroom. There is a king sized bed, so there must be a queen and a king in the house. the bed is positioned so they can catch the sunrise from one of the two windows. There is a cozy solf chair a throne for the king to write blogs and meditate the times.

O but look as you walk into this room there is a door just in front of you leading out. Ah a balcony, where the king can smoke a cigar and view the parade of perennial plants below in the garden as they rise through the season.

so two walls have doors and two walls have windows. There must be some wonderfull cross breeze. you see the room is only 12 foot by 12. The bed taking up most of the room with the deep red painted wall behind it, must be a place of passion. the other walls are golden, must be because of the owners golden years.

The paintings on the wall one side is a painting of a sun rise on a beach. The other painting, on the opposite wall, is Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

There is a feeling of warmth from the electric fireplace at the foot of the bed. The carpet a bit bland, a costume tan used by house flippers to hide imperfect floors no doubt.

The room is beat and tidy, slippers on the floor and an inviting bed….good night
