tears forever

He was number 6 since November. My best Friend, next to my wife, passed early this morning.

It isn’t to often one finds a friend so natural to be with. A friend who you can truly laugh, cry, drink beer, and pray with, without any social standing, or judging. He was that way.His life was similar in ways to mine. A life of dual loves colliding for dominance.

“Precious to the Lord is the death of His saints” the Bible says. How can death be precious? Interwoven in one who knows their Savior Jesus, is a dual pull for dominion of their mind and actions. To die is for God to get the full worship possible from that saint without any dualism fighting for dominion.

At 3:10 A chariot swung low with angels to lift up a saint.

Freindships are risky, and so hard to come by. but so worth it. Really Jesus is the only true friend, but humanly who will show me Jesus and who can I show Him back, too? “We all need someone we can lean on, if you want some time, you can lean on me”

  1. Peggy Griffin says:

My comfort comes in KNOWING beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is with Jesus. My memories of time spent with him will be cherished for the rest of my life. As you said Joel, true friends are hard to find and he was “one of a kind” to me. Love, Peg

  2. I am so sorry for your loss, but as we both know and trust, you will be reunited.
Until then, cherish the precious memories of a beloved friend…who is waiting for you.
