Topic: e-book vs paperback
Ah, the paper back. The dirty soiled thumb areas as you read and re-read the same paperback over and over. Well you can do the re-reading with an e-book as well, but the ink and flipping of paper and the ear folds in the corners to mark where you are.
Now there certainly is something for an e-book. You can be more compact. I can read the paper on the bus going to work with out a lot of noisy cumbersome flipping.
I felt a sweep of joy, however, when my wife mentioned a great deal on getting the newspaper delivered weekly for this month. The folding, at home, i do enjoy and the ink.
I most confess I am a bit biased. I learned to use a printing press in high school. so the art of printing print is very much a naustalgic pleassure relived by the flipping of pages and the smell of ink.
