March 1 – Daily Prompt: Back to the Future

A service has been invented through which you can send messages to people in the future. To whom would you send something, and what would you write?

I am writing to you son of my grandson…..

You may have done research in our family history and have questions, this is who I really am. A sinner, I get angry often, I drive over the speed limit, I like good beer, and I like the thought of you in my line.

I have this duelling worlds going on in my mind, one is a bad guy who sees sinister, lust and cynicism all the time, the other guy, who I think is winning, sees a forgiven dead beat, that was washed from eternity by the judge of the universe.

There is a lot of wonder in life and I hope you get the chance to explore the “woods”. I know you will be cared for because there is this promise associated with my own eternity that is handed down to my following generations. Just like my great granddad had an eternal connection.

There is a lot of sorrow in life and I hope you experience it in the shadow of His cloud, He always has a smile hidden behind His frown, just like the sun is shining on the other side of the cloud.

God is bigger then the thought s that condem you. Love by being a servent, all people, I love you…
