wondering since the garden

We’ve been wondering since the garden of Eden. Looking for a real home with a satisfied God to communicate freely with. We, humanity, think we have a home in our city row home or our middle suburbia home or our half mansion. But we don’t always have a real communication with the creator that was Adam’s and Eve’s.

God planted a garden for man kind an “earth type” if you will. A place where God himself walked openly and freely and there was no shame or fear in all of the animal kingdom. A place where man walked and worked the garden, planting and pruning and tending the various different plants in their seasons. Man was in charge of naming the animals and was chief steward of the planet. There was no need to wonder.

Sin entered, all humans, by Adam’s disobedience of Gods rules. Adam and all man kind was kicked out of the garden the place to openly talk to God and fellowship with Him. Man had to wonder for a new home, and a new way to fellowship within a broken down fellowship.

Emanuel came, that is Jesus. He lived and taught just as all the prophets said he would. He was the very image of the Father God, He came as Gods judgment on the sin that separated humanity from a free fellowship with himself. At the fellowship meal, the last one He would eat on this planet as it is, He spoke about being the only way to the father, about being the door to the Father. He spoke about His going and his return. But he also spoke about His preparation of a new home that He would be preparing. He is bringing us back home to the place of communicating with God and the place of fellowship with the creator.

And best of all He is not only preparing the place for us but He is preparing us for the place. We will not feel the need or desire to wonder looking for a home or a home substitute. we can dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Jesus said trust and believe. He said He is the only way, truth and life. And its only through belief in His finished work that gets us back to the garden. john 14
