The amazing cross

The cross has been painted in many textures over the centuries of time.

The cross of Jesus, that is, or I should say Gods’ love cross. Its God who sent,… well its me who ,….. well its all of those that are His,….. that he carried on His body,….. that is its, our penalty for disobedience to the one true God. That God the creator. You know, the one who gave us a garden, to live in. The one who said this is how you are to…. and we decided to….. do our own thing.

Paintings sometime have been a smooth sterile cross, A cross with sanded edges like its metallic. But that is not accurate, is it? It’s an old rugged piece of wood, right? It’s a chunk of wood with splinters and jagged edges. Its a piece of penalty.

But the best part now is Its empty. just like His tomb. can’t say that about you know who can we, or any of those other  religions.

And He’s still alive!

I some times think what a novelty if it was the same wood from the” tree of life “that was used, for the cross.

Cool idea…cross + tree of life. I am SO humbled by Christ’s love poured out on that cross.
