1 John 1:1

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life-

The  eternal life….
C.s.Lewis in ” the eternal glory,” talks about our innate longing for something we have yet tasted, gotten, received.

I want to believe, its just wishful thinking? We know death is certain, violent death a tragedy, death just isn’t fitting for an end, we must be meant for an afterlife.

The eternal life became flesh. That which we have seen, touched …..he and others really saw and heard, the teaching I am the way,the truth, the life. The new wine wasn’t a trick, the dead man became alive, the leper lost the disease, even after Crucifixion they saw.
In flesh. No halo a real man.

Made flesh …. For us!
For to bare our sins, all of it, now and future…because we never stop being a sinner. A substantial death. The righteous for the unrighteous.
For to elevate our humanity. 1john 3:2.
Calvin 1 peter1:4 promises to make us godlike, the gospel, does.
We bare His image, we are joy, peace, mercy, longsuffering, caught up in Gods love to His son Jesus.

These things are written that you can have this hope, this gospel is receivable to all. All who come to Jesus have this life. Those that have come, those who attended yet still don’t know Him. Those who are so out side the church thing.
